How to get there

The Collectors' Plant Fair is held at Woodgreen, 27 Powells Road, Bilpin, NSW, Australia. 

Bilpin is in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney on Bells Line of Road between Richmond and Lithgow - 35km from Richmond and 48 km from Lithgow.  Powells Road turns south off Bells Line of Road 5km west of Bilpin. 

There is no public transport to Bilpin 

By Coach

Australian Coach Tours.  Pick-up from various spots around Sydney, to be arranged.  Cost is $52 for adults, Seniors $50, Groups $48, includes coach travel and entry to the Collectors' Plant Fair.  Bookings essential.  Tel 02 9773 7445

Friends of The Gardens Coach Tour, Saturday 17 April.  The coach will leave from Central Railway Station in Sydney at 8.45am and return to Central Railway at approximately 4.30 pm.  Cost is $48 (Friends of The Gardens $40) which includes coach travel and entry to the Collectors' Plant Fair.  Bookings are essential.  Tel 02 9231 8182 or

Some garden clubs organise coach travel to the Fair - contact your local garden club for information

By car from Sydney:  Most Sydney street directories include the Bilpin area. Allow 90 minutes travelling time by car from Sydney - longer on Saturday morning.  Take the Gore Hill freeway which connects to the M2 tollway which connects to the M7 tollway and take the RICHMOND ROAD EXIT and follow the signs to Richmond and Lithgow.  This gets you to the Bells Line of Road which goes to Bilpin.  Collectors' Plant Fair signs on Bells Line direct you to the Fair.
