Information you need before setting off!
Over 14 years The Collectors Plant has organically grown from a paddock in Bilpin to filling the grounds of the Hawkesbury Race Club. There is no doubt it is the most inspiring and fun weekend on the gardening calendar.
We are the biggest plant fair in Australia. BUT.
We need you to know a few things before you set out.
Saturday gates open at 8am.
This will be the busiest time for the fair – please keep relaxed as our parking and ticketing team and Volunteers get you and your car/ute/truck/bus through the gates and ready for a beautiful day plant hunting. There have been changes to the entrance to facilitate this.
Remember to switch your clocks back on Sunday
Free off-street parking for cars and coaches available.Our parking attendants will surely and slowly get you parked safe and sound. Please be patient with them and each other.
The trains arerunning this year so please DO NOT queue over the TRAIN TRACK crossing.
Disabled Parking available (marked) near entrance.Parking attendants will help those with Disabled Stickers.
The Plant Creche will secure your plants while you shop. This service is run by volunteers from Mt Tomah Rural Fire Brigade.Please use this free service.
Clean public toilets with disabled facilities are available.
We have 3 ATM’s available but only limited EFTPOS facilities are available from stallholders.
Well behaved dogs on lead are permitted.Please bring water for your dogs.
Bring your own trolley (available Kmart, Bunnings, BigW) for your special plant purchases + cardboard boxes to line the boot with are helpful too.

Getting here by Road
Clarendon is between Richmond and Windsor NSW opposite the Richmond RAAF Base.
Racecourse Road runs between Richmond Road (also known as Blacktown Road) and Windsor Road.
FromSydney or Southern Highlands take the M7, then Richmond Road exit and turn right into Racecourse Road after George Street roundabout to South Windsor.
FromWindsor take first left after golf course.
FromRichmond, take first right after the Visitor Information Centre opposite the Richmond RAAF Base.
Getting here by Rail
Clarendon Station is right next to the Hawkesbury Race Club - it's a very short walk to the Fair. Clarendon Station is on the Richmond - City rail line.
Food & Coffee
A selection of fresh and tasty food options, smoothies, gelato and coffee will be available at the fair.We have assembled the most delicious food trucks in Sydney to provide sustenance during your weekend plant hunting. There will also be a range of vegetarian options available. Food & Coffee are concentrated out by the Racetrack near the speaker’s tent.
Please bring your “keep cup” to reduce the amount of plastics used at the fair.
